April 26th.
Wednesday of the Second Week of Easter.
The Feast Day of
Saints Cletus and Marcellinus.
Cletus was converted and ordained by Saint Peter himself, who was first of the Popes.
Cletus became the 3rd pope.
He was Martyred in
A.D. 91.
Marcellinus was the 29th Pope.
He was beheaded in A.D. 304.
These men numbered among the first 30 popes, all of whom were Martyrs.
